Tigers missing from premiere reserves: Study

After two years of extensive research, the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), DehraDun has released its estimate for tiger population in the forests of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattishgarh. Compared to the tiger census of 2001-02, the numbers have declined drastically.
